I lost again in Kl area today and had been turning back to Mid Valley Megamall for 3 times. It took a long way to make a U-turn back to the destination, every time I have made a wrong turn. It reminds me a story I read about a kampung man and a rich business man.
The rich man went to a small kampung area where the villagers maintain poor lifestyle but enjoying their daily life spending time with family after catching fish or hunting in the jungle. The rich business man told a kampung man that he should try to do business in the city to make big money by selling and catching fishes in large scale and return back to his own kampung during retired age. That's the time to enjoy his life spending time with own grandchildren. The kampung man asked:"Why do I need to go for long path to reach a destination where I am right here enjoying now?"
Sometimes, life is like that. Most of us are blinded by our wants and desire which may lead us to go through the longer path and might U-turn back to the original destination. This is what I am still learning, complaining less and be appreciative of what I have now. You won't be lost easily again, I guess. I have learnt to drive to a new destination today!
